The two-acre property is designed to offer privacy and openness in equal measure. Inside, rooms are warm, wood-lined and welcoming.
Outside, lawns roll gently into orchards, tea gardens and mountain views. It is a space where heritage, landscape and thoughtful design meet seamlessly.

We welcome individual travellers, couples, families and small groups seeking either serene Himalayan downtime, gentle adventure, or long, restorative workations. Our expansive lawns also create an elegant setting for intimate weddings, milestone celebrations and private gatherings.

The resort is fully pet-friendly. Guests are invited to bring their four-legged companions, who quickly become part of our estate’s lively family — a gentle mix of dogs, horses, cows and the hundreds of birds that share this land with us.

Our Story

Our ancestors have been part of Kangra’s history for more than 700 years, living on and caring for this land long before the idea of a resort existed. The property, nestled within one of India’s oldest tea estates, carries stories older than the plantations themselves. Tea was first sown in Kangra in the 1850s by the British — even before Assam — and the estate you see today still grows on those pioneering slopes.

After retiring from the Indian Army, my wife and I returned to our ancestral land — a place that had shaped generations before us. What began as a homecoming soon grew into a vision: to create a space where people could experience the serenity, openness and quiet pride of the Kangra hills.

Together, we built the resort from the ground up, intentionally preserving the spirit of the tea estate while adding the warmth and comfort of contemporary living. Every verandah, pathway and room reflects the care of a family that has lived with this land for centuries.

We remain closely involved in the day-to-day life of the resort. This is our home, extended to guests who appreciate authenticity and understated luxury. The result is a retreat that feels personal, genuine and quietly refined.
